Meet Leane
Leane knew she wanted to be a massage therapist since receiving her first professional massage at age 15. She attended Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL right after graduating high school in 1999. Her studies at FSM primarily focused on Myofascial bodywork and deep massage. She attended Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2003 for yoga teacher certification, and owned and operated a busy massage therapy practice and yoga studio in Berlin, NH before moving to Montpelier in January of 2020.
Leane is a self-proclaimed anatomy geek who’s idea of a good time is attending anatomy seminars, Body Worlds exhibits, and continuing education workshops. She incorporates techniques learned in myofascial, deep, thai massage, and different energy work modalities to create an integrative and healing session. She is loving the new location and offerings at IAOM (Try the float tank!) and is enthusiastic about partnering with the other practitioners to create a truly holistic healing experience for all who come here.
