Meet Shawna
Shawna Snyder has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental medicine since 2006. She earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the prestigious New England School of Acupuncture, where she completed more than 900 hours of supervised clinical training and nearly 2,000 hours of classroom study.
Over the past two decades, Shawna has cared for patients in a wide variety of settings, from private practices in Vermont and Rhode Island to integrative wellness centers in Virginia and Washington, D.C. Her diverse clinical background includes working with patients for pain management, women’s health, fertility support, stress relief, and general wellness. She has collaborated closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
In addition to her clinical work, Shawna has shared her expertise through public speaking, writing health articles, and educating patients on how lifestyle, diet, and mindfulness practices can support their acupuncture treatments. She has also been committed to professional growth, completing nearly 400 hours of continuing education since beginning her practice.
Shawna’s treatments are known for being calm, supportive, and effective. She welcomes each patient with warmth and compassion, creating a relaxing space where healing can unfold. Whether someone is seeking relief from chronic pain, support through fertility treatments, or simply greater balance and vitality, Shawna brings her depth of training and years of experience to every session.
Shawna is excited to be part of the Integrative Acupuncture team and welcomes new patients in Williston.
