Description
Digest Ease is an herbal boost for soups, teas, and bone broths. This herbal broth tonifies spleen, benefits vital energy, eliminates dampness, and transforms phlegm. Useful in aiding indigestion, loose stools, and acid reflux, IBS, nausea, diarrhea, obesity, and abdominal pain.
Uses: Warm it up and drink as is. Use as a base for soups or stocks. Use to enrich bone broth. Substitute for water when cooking whole grains. Add to congees and porridges.

Dang Shen (Codonopsis Pilosula Radix) Codonopsis Root 20%, Fu Ling (Scierotium Poriae Cocos) Poria 20%, Bai Zhu (Rhizoma White Atractylodes Macrocephalae) White Atractylodis 20%, Zhi Ban Xia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparatum) Ginger Cured Pinelliae 15%, Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) Aged Tangerine Peel 15%, Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) Chinese Licorice Root 10%
Preparation: Place herbs in pot and cover with 4 cups of water. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Strain liquid to keep and set aside for use as “1st cook”. Using the same herbs, add another 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain out herbs and keep liquid as the “2nd cook”. Combine both “1st and 2nd cooks” and keep refrigerated until ready to use. Can be used as a tea, soup base, or added to bone broth for enhanced nourishment.
