Dang Shen (Codonopsis Pilosula Radix) Codonopsis Root 38%, Mai Men Dong (Radix Ophiopogonis) Ophiopogon Root 37%, Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Chinensis) Schisandra Fruit 25%.
Preparation: Place herbs in pot and cover with 4 cups of water. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Strain liquid to keep and set aside for use as “1st cook”. Using the same herbs, add another 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain out herbs and keep liquid as the “2nd cook”. Combine both “1st and 2nd cooks” and keep refrigerated until ready to use. Can be used as a tea, soup base, or added to bone broth for enhanced nourishment.
